Chemical Peels Procedure Instructions

Do:

● Follow all of your skin care provider's instructions

● If possible, please come to your appointment with a clean face

● Keep skin dry for 6 hours post procedure

● Cleanse skin with a gentle, non-active cleanser (After 6 hours!)

● Keep skin cool and calm for 24-48 hours

● Keep skin hydrated-2x daily (we recommend Glytone Soothing Lipid Recovery Cream or Neocutis Aftercare)

● Use Sun Protection Daily! (We recommend a mineral broad spectrum SPF 40+)

● Protect your skin-wear sunscreen and a hat

● If you are receiving an eye and lip peel-please remove contacts for your appointment

Don’t:

● Water on the skin for 6 hours post

● Sauna or swimming-for 24-48 hours

● Sun exposure or sweating - for 24-48 hours

● Skin treatments or rubbing or pulling skin - for 24-48 hours

● Skin actives until peeling is complete - for 7-10 days (ex. glycolic acids, retinoids, salicylic acid, vitamin C)
