HYDRAFACIAL PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS

Before Treatment

● Avoid direct sun exposure and use a high SPF sunscreen to protect the treated area from sun damage.
● Avoid using exfoliants or other harsh skin care products (ex. retinoids) on the treated area for one week prior to the treatment.
● Avoid medications that inhibit blood-clotting such as vitamin E, aspirin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for seven days prior to treatment. This will reduce the risk of bruising in the treated area.
● Do not wear makeup or other skin care products to the appointment, as the treated area must be clean prior to treatment.
● Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
● As you prepare for your treatment, please notify staff of any changes to your medical history, health status, and personal activities that may be relevant to your treatment. Reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours in advance if you do not feel well.

After Treatment

● Avoid applying makeup or other skincare products to the treatment area for 24 hours.
● It is normal to experience some redness or mild discomfort in the treated area for a few hours after treatment. These symptoms will gradually subside over time.
● Avoid direct sun exposure and use a high SPF sunscreen to protect the treated area from sun damage.
● Avoid using exfoliants or other harsh skin care products (ex. retinoids) on the treated area for one week post treatment. You may use a gentle cleanser and a gentle moisturizer.
● Treatments every 4-6 weeks are recommended for optimal results
