Holly Meehan, BSN, RN, is a certified nurse injector at Medspa 501 with more than a decade of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barton College in 2015 and has been a licensed registered nurse in North Carolina since graduation.
Holly began her career at UNC Health in Chapel Hill, working in orthopedic and trauma nursing. She later joined UNC Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, where she collaborated closely with surgeons to coordinate and provide operative care for patients undergoing breast cancer reconstruction, trauma reconstruction, and gender-affirming surgery.
Through this work, Holly saw firsthand how feeling comfortable and confident in one’s body can shape a person’s overall well-being. Transitioning into medical aesthetics was a natural continuation of her passion for helping patients feel like the best version of themselves.
Holly takes an individualized, relationship-based approach to care. She works closely with each patient to understand their concerns, assess their facial anatomy, and develop a treatment plan aligned with their goals. Her focus is always on thoughtful, natural-looking results rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Holly holds certifications in Basic Life Support, neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments through AMET, and paramedical and cosmetic tattooing. She participates in several advanced trainings each year focused on facial assessment, injection techniques, injectable product lines, and professional skincare. Her ongoing education includes training with Galderma, Revance, Merz Aesthetics, Allergan Aesthetics, ZO Skin Health, and Neocutis. She is also a member of Triangle Aesthetic Providers.
Holly is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of Medspa 501, she enjoys cooking, crafting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her two cats. An enthusiastic traveler and adventurer, she has visited 13 countries and completed approximately 1,000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail through California and Oregon.
